All About Your Appointment

I am beyond excited to meet you and your curls!! 

Here's what you can expect to happen and how you can prepare. 

Coming to your appointment fully prepared helps me give you the best cut and service possible!

Before Your Appointment

Please:

~Wash and style your hair the day before or morning of your appointment. 

~Please make sure it's dry before you get here. 

~Keep your hair free of any hair ties, bobbie pins, hair accessories, braids or twists.

~Diffusing is fine, if it is something you would normally do. ~No finger twirling your or brush styling your curls.​

I need your curls as close to how they naturally curl as possible for your cut.​

~New or returning guests, we will review your curly hair questionnaire if you filled it out, and do a full consultation. ~Please ask any questions that you have and bring inspiration pictures if you can.​

The Cut & Experience

I typically cut curls dry. This is why preparing for your appointment is so important. I cut your curls by following your unique curl pattern. After your cut, we will  head to the shampoo bowl where you will receive a massaging cleanse along with a product evaluation to help make sure your hair products are tailored specifically for your hair type and environment.​​

After Your Service

​First Time Guests, I will take some extra time to show you how to properly apply styling products and how to dry your curls in a way that fits your lifestyle while teaching you how to achieve your desired look. 

 

Once styling is complete, I will review the cut and trim anything else that needs it. 

 

We will end by discussing any question you have, the best way to sleep with your curls, and how to refresh your curls each day. 

 

A great curly haircut should last you about 3 months before it begins to lose shape. A Dry Cut at that point would be great for current shape maintenance. For a full reshape, or if you'd like to go longer between appointments, I recommend you book a Curly Cut for Returning Guests that includes a wash and style.

Photos are often part of the experience at the salon. If time permits, I typically like to spend some time taking really great images of your hair once the service has been completed.  If you have any questions or concerns about images, please let me know. â€‹â€‹â€‹

Policy

If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so 24 hours or more before your scheduled appointment time. This will give me the opportunity to fill in that time with someone from my waitlist. 

 

If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment.

 

Once you arrive, I will show you to my chair where we will have a consultation to make sure we are on the same page with what you'd like to have done and discuss any questions or concerns you may have before getting started.

* PLEASE NOTE* - If you have a service animal or emotional support animal that you need to have with you during your appointment, I will need to provide you with a recommendation for another stylists due to personal health concerns. Thank you

Payment is due in full at the end of your service. Accepted forms of payment are card and cash..
